Salary: Starting salary of £42,000–£44,000 per annum, dependent on experience and performance, with additional performance-related bonuses available.

Role of Junior Financial Advisor:

  • Support senior advisors in client meetings by gathering financial information, understanding client goals, and assisting in the development of suitable financial strategies.
  • Produce detailed financial analyses, including cash flow modelling, retirement planning projections, and investment portfolio reviews.
  • Research and evaluate a range of investment opportunities and assist in the formulation of strategies aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
  • Assist in the preparation of client reports, financial plans, and presentation materials for advisory meetings.
  • Respond to client enquiries in a professional manner, providing ongoing support and helping to resolve financial queries.
  • Monitor developments in financial markets, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure advice remains relevant and compliant.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the team to ensure a high standard of client service and regulatory adherence.
  • Participate in training and professional development initiatives to continuously enhance knowledge and advisory capability within the financial services sector.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent academic background).
  • Strong interest in building a long-term career within financial services and investment advisory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to take initiative in client engagement and relationship building.
  • Level 4 Financial Advisory Certification (either already held or actively working towards) is required, due to direct client-facing responsibilities.
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability, with attention to detail in handling financial information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Professional attitude with a strong commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
