Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join our equity investment team as an ESG Analyst. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sustainable investing and want to build a career in ESG-integrated equity research.
In this role, you will support the incorporation of Environmental, Social, and Governance considerations into investment decision-making processes. You will work alongside experienced investment professionals to help assess companies, identify sustainability risks and opportunities, and contribute to responsible investment strategies across our equity portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of ESG analysis into equity research and investment decision-making processes
- Assist in assessing ESG risks and opportunities across portfolio companies
- Monitor ESG performance indicators and prepare insights for senior investment managers
- Contribute to the production of ESG and responsible investment reports for internal use
- Assist in shareholder engagement activities, including voting research and corporate dialogue
- Track regulatory developments and industry trends relating to ESG and sustainable investing
- Support ongoing improvements to ESG frameworks, methodologies, and internal processes
- Collaborate with research and portfolio management teams to ensure ESG alignment across investments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline with strong academic performance
- Genuine interest in ESG investing, sustainability, and equity markets
- ESG Investment Strategies & Compliance Certification (required due to regulatory exposure within the role)
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret financial and non-financial data
- Interest in pursuing professional qualifications such as the CFA or ESG-related certifications
- Good understanding of basic ESG principles and responsible investment concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
